Ela! Greek Taverna is looking for an experienced Line Cook for our restaurant located at 150 Hector Gate, Dartmouth Crossing, Dartmouth B3B 0E6.

The ideal candidate must have:

• Good knowledge of English
• At least 2 years of work experience , preferably in Greek kitchen
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Duties of the position:

• Determine the size of food portions and costs
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas

Salary is between $18 to $20 depends the experience for full time employment of at least 32 hours per week.
