RESPONSIBILITIES
TASKS
· Administer bedside and personal care
Assist with safe positioning, mobility support using adaptive equipment, and maintaining a clean, comfortable care environment for an individual with limited mobility and developmental delays (training will be provided for specialized positioning techniques).
· Collect specimens
Support routine collection of urine or stool samples as required for ongoing medical monitoring, following proper hygiene and handling procedures (training will be provided).
· Feed or assist in feeding
Prepare and administer prescribed formula through a G‑tube, follow feeding schedules, and ensure proper sanitation of feeding equipment (training will be provided).
· Provide companionship
Offer supportive interaction, engage in simple communication activities, and provide emotional comfort appropriate for an individual with limited verbal skills and sensory needs.
· Provide personal care
Assist with diapering, bathing, dressing, and hygiene for a non‑ambulatory individual who is not toilet trained, ensuring safe handling and comfort.
· Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Prepare formula for tube feeding and assist with basic household meal preparation while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment (training will be provided for formula preparation and tube‑feeding procedures).
